About Us

Sophie Rapsey founded her private practice with the goal of fostering a healthier work-life balance while staying true to the core values she champions. This decision enabled her to dedicate more time and energy to supporting individuals on their therapeutic journeys, ensuring they receive the personalised care and attention that private practice affords.

Understanding the challenges of accessing affordable therapy, Sophie collaborates with various organisations to provide accessible options. She works with Sercleic to offer reduced therapy rates for trauma survivors and is registered with the LADZ app, which focuses on men’s mental health. Additionally, Sophie Rapsey is recognised by private health insurers, including AXA and AVIVA, and provides discounts for students. SMRWellbeing also offers a range of therapeutic avenues designed to suit various price points, and block booking sessions are available at a reduced rate to make therapy as accessible as possible.

At SMRWellbeing we can offer you a choice between founder Sophie Rapsey or Associate CBT therapist Dawn Mcfayden (remote sessions only), depending on who you feel matches what you are looking for in a therapist. Check out their bio’s below for more information…
